Did you get the new option of “#New Twitter” on your twitter page?
Twitter is now redesigned to a new format which is likely to be a big hit in the Social media platform. This new re-engineered Twitter.com provides an easier, faster, and richer experience.
It was good to see the new launch of the Twitter on a Wednesday morning. This new design has many aesthetic features like: the Twin column interface, Top tweets, Non-stop scrolling, Easily check Hashtags, Embed pictures on your tweets, etc..
Twitter.com, after re-designing is no longer a site to just update your status. It has now become a network wherein information & knowledge has been shared and exchanged.

Essentially the re-designing does not only mean revising in the appearance. It also goes with the functionality and the content part. As far as my observations, in today’s trend it is no longer good enough to have a static website. The website should be attractive enough with the usability standards and engage the visitors else, they have the competitor’s site open in the new tab.
Redesign should be undertaken with great preparations and plannings. It eats up the minds of both the client as well as the designer. Hence a detailed discussion proposing the new features of the client is a must to avoid your headache.
So the two main goals for business website redesign should always be:
1. To get more prospects
2. To increase conversion rates and reducing bounce rates
A design that evokes appropriate emotional response and makes the user stay on the site is a good web design in today’s world.
You will find a few checklists and things you will want to take into consideration when you start re-designing in my further posts.
